Fact: I was not thrilled with the 2012 SAG award red carpet dresses. My favorites (notice how short my 'Best Dressed' list is) were all donning different looks. From curve-hugging (Sophia Vergara) to ruffled lace tea-length skirts, (Emma Stone) the red carpet was brimming with black + vibrant colored frocks. Who was your best dressed?

18th Annual SAG Awards: Who Wore What? Sofia Vergara in Marchesa

Sofia Vergara in Marchesa: Miss Sofia stepped onto the 2012 SAG Awards red carpet tonight in a strapless bubblegum pink gown from red carpet-favorite Marchesa. It looks as if it is "inspired" by Marchesa Resort 2012 and possibly this gown:

It has a similar jutting pleated drape upper torso design (although in the sample above it's more like a bow shape and also includes peplum-like detail--also missing from Sofia's) but the shape is similar as well as the silk crepe skirt section. Now...did I like it? Not so sure--ladies with ample cleavage and bust (like Miss Sofia) are not usually the type of girls who should wear this kind of bust-enhancing gown.

And the jutting-out design is a bit "tricky" for me. I guess she doesn't need a handbag with all that extra storage area!!! What do you guys think? Likey? Or No Likey?

Shailene Woodley Fashion Disaster

After sporting a beautiful Marchesa dress, the Descendants star Shailene Woodley committed a Fashion Disaster at the Warner Bros. and InStyle Golden Globe Awards After Party. She committed her greatest fashion crime so far when she paired her sleek one-shouldered black cut-out dress with Vibram Five Finger shoes.
