Newlyweds, Lynn and Mike tied the knot this past September here in NYC. I love splashes of blues added to the couples classic black & white color scheme. I also love their wedding cake! Doesn't it look delicious?! I love that the flowers match the ones in the brides bouquet...super cute! Thanks to NY photographer Casey Fatchett  for such great shots!

This is such a beautiful black and white themed wedding taken place at the Sagamore Resort in NY's Lake George! The black, ivories and whites the couple chose, created such a classic and chic style for their wedding. I love that the two chose to say their vows right beside the lake, how pretty?! Kim Kardashian, and her NBA hubby Kris Humphries recently tied the knot in Montecito, California. The two had a white and black wedding theme, that was incorporated in all the wedding details and decor. With the bridesmaids dressed in all white, seen before by Pippa Middleton, Kim's glamorous and chic fairytale wedding is quickly being compared to that of the Royal Wedding. I love her "princess" Vera Wang wedding dress and the elegant black and white cake. What do you think? Is black and white a color trend for you? How do you feel about bridesmaids wearing all white? I'm not sure if it takes too much away from the bride. Do you feel now a days there are a lot of situations that are taking away the attention from the bride and groom? For example, the white dress attire being worn by guests and now bridesmaids, other family members requesting their own solo dances with the bride and groom, and even having others help with the cutting of the cake?! What do you guys think, is it a free for all now? Is there nothing left that is sacred and special just for the bride and groom???

I Love the classics. Black and white, beautiful luscious cotton papers and incredible luxurious silks make this wedding invitation in a class of it's own. The luxurious affair took place at a private country club in Massachusetts and the couple wanted a more classic and elegant look for their small intimate wedding. Lela New York created a lovely book style wedding invitation that was letterpressed in black ink and tied with a white bow. A Lovely introduction to their elegant wedding day.

How beautiful is this NY wedding! The wedding of Rachel & Paul was on August 14, 2010 was held at country club in Garden City, New York. I just love the pretty soft lighted picts and how Rachel kept it classically elegant with black and white details and only a pop of pink on the bridesmaid bouquets.

Style.com's Nicole Phelps noted that "We lost count somewhere around 90 when we tried to tally the photographers in the pit at Jason Wu's Chelsea show today. The designer's rise has been fairly meteoric, thanks in part to Michelle Obama, of course. But it struck you, looking at his Fall collection: The clothes are legitimately living up to his outsized reputation.".

From the runway photos and video--the collection was meant for a younger Lady Who Lunches. She also does Cocktails, Galas, and she BETTER be seen in Vogue Magazine's "Flash" section...or else her pr person will hear about it! Lots of man-tailoring super-skinny sized. Lace and transparency, embellishment and high HIGH slits in the last gowns. Bow ties are the new "Statement Necklaces". Oh and it all looked very Alber Elbaz-meets-Yves Saint Laurent (the Genius not the brand). Love the tulle-and-lace face veil, by the way!

For Fall 2011 Diane Von Furstenberg's Collection was named "American Legends", referencing to Style Divas such as Milicent Rodgers, Gloria Vanderbilt, Diana Vreeland, etc. From the Gaucho-esque wide-brimmed hats to the metallic Disco stylings and pops of turquoise, red and in-your-face prints, it all looked more like a Party in Buenos Aires or Marbella circa 1979. I would say Naty Abascal would be a closer Muse than the ones named above. There were tunics, high-slit skirts, transparent Bishop-sleeved blouses and yes, more YSL nods. Here are some highlights:
