GTL. Ah, the infamous acronym a la Jersey Shore. Well, unlike the show, this editorial (Vogue US, 2005) is all things classy—and, one of my favorites for that matter. I love the juxtaposition of high fashion + glamour with a mundane and not-so-glamorous task like doing laundry. Enough to make me excited to do a load of laundry? nay. But it certainly makes me inspired to dress up, go for a bold red lip, AND have some fries.

Vogue Italia June Cover: Plus Size Heaven!!!

Well, darlings, as always Vogue Italia is ahead of the CURVE--pun intended. The latest June 2011 cover, has three fully-curved DIVAS...models... including Tara Lynne, Candice Huffine and Robyn Lawley. The photo was shot by Steven Meisel, who does all the Vogue Italia covers and many of their editorials and styled by Ghana-born London-based stylist Edward Enninful. The buxom beauties are seen lounging in their lingerie no less--around bowls of pasta. Sounds like my Vision of a Dream!!!

As styleite.com states, Vogue Italia's Editor-in-Chief, the famed Franca Sozzani, wants to use the cover to combat anorexia and body dysmorphia. She has even set up a petition--you can go to the Vogue Italia site for more info--to shut down websites that promote anorexia.
